Specials for week of Sept 28th

Yes, the last week of September. I am already planning for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and even thinking about New Years.

Had a very nice weekend in Indiana, yes Indiana. It was our 29th wedding anniversary on Sunday. We went to Shipshewana Friday night and Saturday. Indianapolis On Sunday for the King Tut Exhibit and Chicago's Navy Pier on Monday. So after all that I forgot to call in time to order seafood for Tuesday, but I did order some things for Wednesday.

Fresh seafood Tuesday NONE, see note above.

Fresh seafood for Wednesday will be baby Sauger and Halibut Cheeks but limited of each so call your orders in early. 734 4905

Fresh seafood for Thursday will be Wild Coho Salomon and Wahoo.

Fresh seafood for Friday will be Scallops, Red Snapper and Canadian Walleye.

Brat Flavors will be Green and Gold (Jalapeno and Cheese) for the Packer / Viking game on Monday Night and Mushroom and Plain Brats.

Special Meat Event Next Week October 8th 9th and 10th!

I will have fresh local raised pork from Nila Robinson at Whistleberry farms in Schiocton. Nila Pasture raises (running free) Tamworth hogs. Let me know if you are interested in a 1/2 or whole hog. I will also be taking orders for fresh pork cuts (available Thursday afternoon October 8th) as well as smoked ham and bacon (available October 15th) from these hogs. Nila will be here in the store to tell the story of this local raised pork as well as cooking some samples for you to try. More details next week.

New Beers:

Walk in beer cooler rearranged. Many of the seasonal and micro brews are now inside and cold. Walk right in.

Halloween Party beers from Wychwood brewing in England Hobgoblin Dark, Wychcraft Blonde and Scare Crow Golde Pale Ale.

Crispin Hard Apple Cider 4 paks Original or Light. My daughter and future son in law loved these at the beer show.

New Wines:

Righteous Riesling Mosel Germany Reasonable and Tasty. Will go well with Nila's Pork.

8 cases coming in Wednesday for the Closeout basket. Don't know what but will be cheap!

Cork Dorq Chard and Merlot is almost gone from Closeout basket $2.50 per bottle while supply lasts.
