Another 15 miles on the bike this weekend and about 5 walking the dogs and baby. Not to many wooly bears this year, what do you think that means? Warm or cold winter?

Drove my regular fall color route today, some really pretty trees but many that have already dropped their leaves. Looked better closer to Appleton.

Fresh Seafood for Thursday will be Sword, Walleye and Door County Whitefish. If you need whitefish for a fish boil come see me. I ordered 5 lbs last week and they sent 5 - 5 pound whole fish. I did sell one extra but have 3 in the freezer.

I have 20 pounds less what sold already of South African Lobster tails 4.5-5 oz "H" tails. They run $9-10 dollars each. South African Lobster is from colder water, they have thinner shells and better flavor. Won't be at this price for Christmas, stock up now.

I got to take Carter to swimming lessons tonight, Becki was in Milwaukee. He only turned a little blue and his bottom lip only shook a little. Kicking and splashing is good for 9 months, need to work on blowing bubbles.

Just over 20 miles on the bike this weekend. Still some hardy campers at Hartman's Creek but only 2 woolly bear caterpillars on the road.

The next two weekends should be really good for leaves out in Waupaca. The maple has turned and the oak are thinking about it really hard. Go for a ride and enjoy the colors.

OK start reading hear again. The leaves should be turning in about 2 weeks. Check out south west Waupaca county and North west Waushara county along highway 22 between Waupaca and Wild Rose on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I haven't seen any wooly bear caterpillars yet, how about you.

Does anyone have a photo of that nice wind swept scotch pine that was cut down last week on the north side of Madison Middle School. That was a really cool tree. I'd like a copy of any photos.

Broiled Redfish Parmesan
A delicious Fresh Seafood recipe!
Broiled Red Drum Parmesan

2 pounds redfish fillets
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter, room temperature
3 green onions, chopped
thinly sliced lemon and parsley for garnish, optional

Place fillets in a single layer on a greased baking dish or broiler
pan; brush with lemon juice.

Combine Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, salt, butter, and green onions in
a small bowl; set aside.

Broil fillets 4 to 6 minutes, or until fish flakes easily
with a fork. Remove from oven; spread with cheese
mixture.

Broil about 30 seconds longer, or until cheese is lightly browned and bubbly.

Garnish with sliced lemon and parsley if desired.

Serves 6 to 8.
